The Future

What does the future hold for you and your loved ones? What will the world be like? Will it be a world of unending chaos or will it be a world of abundance and happiness? Why is there such perplexity and confusion in every phase of life today? Is there something beyond this physical life, and if so what is it, and what will it be like?

These are all very important questions that people have sought answers to since mankind has existed. Are there answers to these questions? Yes, there are answers, and they are found in the most published, read, and studied book ever written—the Bible. Although the Bible reveals the purpose for human existence this purpose is hidden to those without the spirit of God. When asked by his disciples why he spoke in parables, Jesus said the following:

The Hidden Mysteries

"And the disciples came, and said to him, Why do you speak to them in parables? He answered and said, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. . . Therefore I speak to them in parables: because seeing, they see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. . ." (Matt.10-13 Para.).

Jesus said that he was speaking in parables so that people would not understand the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven and be converted to the ways of God:

"And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, that says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them" (vs.14-15 KJV). See Isa.6:9-10.

Other scriptures reveal that the understanding, conversion, and healing that Jesus referred to in the prophecy of Isaiah concerns spiritual enlightenment, repentance from sin, and forgiveness of sin which brings spiritual health to the repentant believer. The simple fact is that Jesus did not come to save all humanity at that time; he came to reveal God the Father, proclaim his good news message, and sacrifice his life for the sins of humanity.

Although Jesus hid the understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven from the majority of the people he spoke to, the disciples were allowed to understand these mysteries:

"But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For truly I say to you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them" (vs.16-17 KJV). See also Mk.4:11-12; Lk.8:10.

Many scriptures show that the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven will remain hidden to the vast majority of people until people can learn the lessons that only time and life experience can teach. Moreover, these scriptures also show that many prophecies must be fulfilled concerning God's plan for humanity before the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven will be revealed.

The Plan

In the timelessness of eternity, a plan unfolded that is more fascinating and engrossing than any science fiction story or real life saga that has ever been told. That plan involves every person who has lived, is now living, or is yet to be born. With the creation of humans, God the Father embarked upon the greatest and grandest of all his creations; he is creating beings just like himself (Phil.3:21; 1.Jn.3:2) and his intent is to share with them all that he has created or will ever create throughout eternity

Many of the mysteries about the kingdom of heaven concern the plan of God for the salvation of humanity, which is revealed by Jesus' statement concerning why he spoke in parables and through the apostle Paul's preaching of the gospel message:

"Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began" (Rom.16:25 KJV) See also Col.1:26.

God the Father and Jesus Christ's purpose for creating humanity is so awesome and exciting that it is almost beyond belief. God the Father, the One who sent his Son Jesus Christ to earth over nineteen hundred years ago, is in the process of creating spiritual children out of human beings:

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. . ." (Jn.1:12 KJV).

"Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know him. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be like: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1.Jn.3:1-2 Para. ). See also 2.Cor.6:18; Heb.2:10; Rom.8:14,19.

God the Father is expanding his Family and this great truth is only one of the many mysteries of the kingdom of heaven that is revealed through the gospel message.

The Mysteries to be Revealed

In the end of this age, before the return of Christ, many of the hidden mysteries contained in the Bible will be revealed and proclaimed through the gospel message as an advance announcement that God is beginning to initiate the next phase of his great plan for humanity—his direct intervention in human affairs. See Dan.12:4,10; Eph.6:19; Col.1:24-27; 1.Pet.1:12.

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matt.24:14 KJV).

"Therefore, go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy spirit: Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you: and, I will be with you, even to the end of the age. So be it" (Matt.28:19-20 Para.).

THE GOOD NEWS

All of the New Testament is concerned with only one theme —the good news message from God the Father to humanity.

The New Testament shows the following:

  • It tells about the Father's plan for humanity.

  • It records God's message and the people and events surrounding the proclamation of

  • God's plan––past, present, and future.

  • It reveals why God sent the message and what he hopes to accomplish through it.

The Father's good news to humanity reveals the following important information:

  • Grace—God's favor, concern, and compassion toward humanity.

  • Peace—between God and humanity, and between individuals and nations.

  • Christ—sending the Redeemer and Savior of humanity to earth.

  • Salvation—how to be saved from eternal death.

  • The Kingdom of God—God's eternal government.

Within these five interwoven subjects, we find the focus of everything that Jesus said and did for the 3½ years of his ministry. Within these subjects we also find a strong witness and warning to specific individuals and the entire world.

A Witness

The gospel is a witness to specific individuals that they have been called to salvation during this present age. Additionally, it is a witness to the entire world that God the Father exists and he is now beginning to implement his plan to save humanity from total destruction.

A Warning

The gospel is a warning to those whom God the Father calls to salvation during this present age that, if they do not accept the opportunity that they are being offered, they will suffer his judgment—eternal death.

The gospel is also a warning to the whole world that God the Father is about to intervene in world affairs and punish those who will not accept and obey his good news message.

The Early Church

The members of the early church had an advantage that we do not have in this age; they clearly understood their calling and their responsibilities to God the Father and Jesus Christ. They understood these things because they had the apostles and others who were directly taught by Jesus Christ to teach and guide them. Moreover, they also had the example of the Levitical Priesthood and the temple worship system from which to draw spiritual analogies.

Although the early church understood the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, history clearly shows that the failure of the Father's first children of his new creation to maintain the truth they had received in an uncorrupted state led to the demise and disappearance of the early church after the death of the apostle John. However, many biblical prophecies clearly indicate that, before Jesus returns to rule the earth, the Father's elect children will again be given the opportunity to partake of much of the awesome truth that was originally given to the early church.

Who Are We?

In October of 1979, three men who were concerned about the evil that was becoming more and more prevalent within the church that they attended decided to withdraw themselves from that organization and seek fellowship with people who were interested in seeking and following truth. These men prayerfully asked God the Father to give them knowledge and understanding into his word and they promised if he would do this they would live by it and teach it to others.

God the Father honored the covenant that these men offered to him and began revealing truth to them and those who associated with them; however, with truth came the trial of obedience to truth. Today, only a handful of the original group of people that associated themselves with these men continue to learn and grow in spiritual truth, grace, and knowledge within this covenant relationship.

We are individuals who have come together in an effort to seek the will of God in our lives, search out truth and discard erroneous teachings and traditions that suppress spiritual growth. Moreover, we are engaged in doing an individual and collective work for God the Father and Jesus Christ.

The Bible and This Work

We believe that the Bible is unique in its origin and in the information that is presented within its pages. It is the only book that claims to have the answers to the basic questions of life and claims to be written by the true God. This book tells humanity who its Creator is, why it was created, and what its future will be.

This work is a non-profit volunteer effort having no salaried ministry, writers, employees, or staff. This work is an ongoing effort to discover, research, understand, and publish foundational truths that have been hidden in the Bible for centuries, which will bring people happy, abundant, and productive lives with the promise of eternal life after physical death, if these truths are correctly understood and practiced.

Since early 1980, we have published and distributed much of the spiritual knowledge and understanding with which we have been blessed. In 1998, we launched our first web site and we offer over 190 free doctrinal studies concerning many subjects that are vital to one's spiritual growth and success as a child of God.

What Are We Trying to Accomplish?

We believe that what is written in the Bible is the word of God and that it instructs all those who are called to salvation during this age to fulfill certain personal responsibilities in order to be a productive servant within the Father's family on earth. We also believe that one of the reasons for the demise and disappearance of the early church was their failure to maintain the truth they had received in an uncorrupted state. Therefore, we have come together to perform a collective work with the following two primary goals:

  1. To share our knowledge and understanding of the Sovereign God's plan and purpose for humanity with those who are interested in living according to his law, not by the dictates and traditions of men.

  2. To proclaim the coming Kingdom of God as a warning and a witness to humanity before the Messiah returns to rule the earth.
